Inclusive AI - Driving Advancement With Intention

-

Breakout Celebration 7 - 8
FS Featured Session

Advances in AI are significantly disrupting the assessment and learning industry, reshaping how education, workforce, and licensing organizations select individuals, evaluate KSAs, and personalize training and learning pathways. Although AI-based solutions come with a variety of advantages (e.g., time savings, reduced costs), these solutions have also raised equity and accessibility concerns (e.g., algorithmic discrimination, widening of digital divide).

This session will help attendees to evaluate the implications of existing AI-based solutions and to think more broadly about how the testing industry can leverage technology to promote access and opportunity. The session includes panelists with expertise in education, workforce, licensing, and user experience fields, who will discuss key questions regarding what it means to design, develop, and deploy solutions with equity and intentionality in mind.
