Dr. Alex Casillas is a Principal Research Psychologist in ACT’s Skills Research and Development team with over 20 years of experience in the testing industry. He specializes in assessment design, behavioral predictors of performance and persistence in education and work settings, and implementation of training and learning programs. He has a strong track record of thought leadership and research dissemination (80+ articles, chapters, and research reports; 100+ presentations at national and international conferences). His current work focuses on helping historically underrepresented groups achieve more equitable outcomes in education and at work. He is originally from Mexico and a first-generation college graduate.
