PPD Peas in a Pod Discussion

How do you design an assessment(s) for a program that accurately reflects the knowledge, skills, and abilities that candidates will be expected to apply on the job?

We will present a case study in which an organization went through an internal review of the alignment of their assessment method to their program’s goals. This will turn into a conversation guided by questions such as: “How well do you believe your assessment method and item types align with your program’s goals?” or “Why is it important to evaluate this alignment?” Following the “how” and “why” conversation, we will discuss “what next” with question such as “When should a program explore other assessment options?” and “How does an organization decide which assessment methods or item types best align to their goals?”

Throughout the conversation, we will be flexible and allow the conversation to have an organic development of the topic so that the conversation can easily shift and focus on the interests of the audience.
