
Tara Myers, PhD, ICE-CCP, SHRM-SCP, ICF-ACC, is the Director of Measurement Services at American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is an accomplished leader with over 20 years of experience in assessment development and talent management. She currently leads a team responsible for the development and maintenance of 17 nursing certifications and 12 affiliated assessment products. Prior to her current role, Dr. Myers worked 15 years as a consultant in private and public industries, creating high-stakes assessment programs within hospitality, security, child welfare, building, and finance industries. Dr. Myers is currently co-chair of I.C.E.’s Publications and Editorial Committee, Vice Chair of the Certification Network Group (CNG) Board of Directors, chair of a SIOP awards subcommittee, and psychometric reviewer for I.C.E. and ABSNC. She was co-author of the Job Analysis chapter in the third edition of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.) Certification Handbook; co-editor for Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP) TIP’s The Bridge: Connecting Science and Practice column, and member of the SIOP Professional Practice Committee for Learning Resources. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Nebraska.
