
Pamela Kaliski is the Manager of Exam Innovations in the Research and Innovations Department at the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She has been working in the assessment field for 17 years, bringing a significant amount of experience and insight to her current role. She received her PhD in Assessment and Measurement from James Madison University. Throughout her career, Pamela has been dedicated to studying and implementing innovative approaches to enhance assessment quality. Her research endeavors over the years have focused on studying new item formats, innovative item types, and novel item development approaches. Pamela is passionate about conducting both qualitative and quantitative research studies to determine if assessment innovations are appropriate for a given context.
