Lorin Mueller, PhD, SHRM-SCP, is the Managing Director of Assessment at the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy with expertise in psychometrics and test development. Dr. Mueller has contributed his measurement expertise to such efforts as the development of high stakes tests for the selection of advanced mathematicians, medical personnel, and air-traffic controllers, as well as assessments designed to measure educational achievement among elementary school teachers and human-resource professionals. Dr. Mueller previously worked at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) as a Principal Research Scientist, serves on several test development advisory boards, is a former president of the Personnel Testing Council-Metro Washington and a SIOP Fellow.
