Kari Hodge, Ph.D. is the Manager Psychometrics & Applied Research for Ascend Learning. Her research interest includes innovative item development and applied psychometrics, standard setting, international programs, and Rasch testlet models. Dr. Hodge is responsible for leading psychometric and research projects and teams. In her current and previous roles working with credentialing boards and healthcare assessments, Dr. Hodge wrote policy and procedure manuals including test security protocols, and lead and conducted end to end assessment development and psychometrics. Dr. Hodge has taught elementary school, teacher preparation courses, and master and doctoral level statistics courses. Dr. Hodge serves as a journal and conference peer reviewer. Dr. Hodge holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology: Quantitative Measurement from Baylor University, an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from Tarleton Central Texas, and a BA in Education from Saginaw Valley State University.
