Joanne Rinella is EQAO’s Director of Assessment and Reporting. She is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the modernization and digitalization of EQAO’s assessments in collaboration with the agency’s education partners and for overseeing the school support and outreach team. Prior to joining the agency, Joanne was an educator with the Peel District School Board. She joined EQAO in 2005 as an Education Officer with the Primary Junior assessment team. In 2008, Joanne became an EQAO Assessment Program Manager, and has managed the creation and delivery of the Primary and Junior, Grade 9 and OSSLT/TPCL assessments.
