Dr. Jill Bryant is the Executive Director of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. Prior to joining NBEO, Dr. Bryant served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Director of Contact Lens at Duke University Eye Center from 2005-2015. Dr. Bryant has also served as a Board Member for the Durham County Department of Public Health. In addition, she has served as a Clinical Examiner with the North Carolina Board of Optometry. She is a past President of the North Carolina Optometric Society. In 2014, Dr. Bryant received the NC Young Optometrist of the Year and the John D. Robinson Clinical Excellence Award. She was named to Vision Monday’s Most Influential Women in Optical in 2020.
