Ibi Layi-Ojo is the Director of Examinations at CFP Board of Standards. The mission of the 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization, is to certify competent and ethical financial planners, uphold CFP® certification as the recognized standard and advance the financial planning profession.

Prior to CFP BOARD, Ibi worked at Prometric, a technology-driven global assessment services provider. There, she provided test development consulting services and managed the technology integrations and innovations for organizations globally.

Ibi holds a M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore, and a M.S. in Measurement, Statistics and Evaluation (Psychometrics) from the University of Maryland. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), an I.C.E. Certified credentialing professional (ICE-CCP) and a Certified Association Executive (CAE). Ibi’s volunteer roles include Vice Chair of the Accreditation Services Council and member of the Washington DC program committee for Certification Network Group.
