Dave West, BCSP’s Examinations Director, is a Certified Safety Professional, Associate Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, and Professional Engineer, with a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Before joining BCSP's staff in 2017, Mr. West had worked for over 27 years at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where he served as a Vice President and Deputy Operation Manager. Mr. West is a former member of NASA’s Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel. Mr. West is currently the President of the International System Safety Society.
