Dr. Cynthia Parshall is the Principal Consultant with Touchstone Consulting, where she focuses on the design of innovative assessment formats, such as alternative item types (AITs) and simulation-based tests (SBTs). Cynthia has helped numerous testing organizations with user-oriented research studies, including think-aloud usability sessions and focus group facilitation. She has published extensively on these topics and was the lead author on the book Practical Considerations in Computer-Based Testing.
