Andrew Jones, Ph.D, is the Chief Assessment Officer/Interim Chief Operating Officer at the American Board of Surgery (ABS) where he oversees psychometrics, exam development, information technology, and exam delivery. Andrew has published research related to psychometrics and assessment in the medical professions and his publications can be found in both measurement and medical journals. Andrew has served in various leadership positions in professional educational measurement societies and has served as chair of two American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) advisory groups for research and psychometrics and is currently the chair of the ABMS Database and Information Technology Advisory Committee (DITAC).
