
Aida Hadziomerovic, Registrar and Director, Examinations and Assessments, The Insurance Institute of Canada
Aida has been working in the educational and credentialing space for over 20 years. She has always been interested in the intersection between learning and game design. She started her career designing educational games combining game mechanics and learning principles. She later expanded her career into the assessment space where she has worked with a variety of companies and regulatory bodies designing various assessments ranging from traditional multiple choice question exams to portfolio-based assessments and practice-based simulations.
Currently, Aida leads the Examinations and Assessments division at the Insurance Institute of Canada where her primary role is to ensure that exams are developed and delivered in accordance with credentialing standards. She is passionate about examination integrity and is currently exploring how technology and genAI can be leveraged to ensure examination security and standards are maintained.
