The advancements in the understanding and growing awareness of learning disabilities has precipitated an avalanche in accommodations requests. This presentation addresses the impact of that on accommodations programs—from adapting procedures and systems to handle the high volume to communicating effectively with accommodations-savvy candidates and resetting expectations around the differences between in-school accommodations and those for high-stakes professional licensure and certification.
