Breakout Celebration 5 - 6
2SP 2 Session Presentation

In recent years there has been no shortage of discussion and conference sessions on artificial intelligence. By now, the potential of and challenges associated with AI have been well explored.

In this extended, workshop style session, we will take a different approach that is intended to provide a broader overview of the journey towards adoption of generative AI. A hypothetical, testing industry-based use case will frame the relevant issues, to illustrate how to address these matters in practice. The session will be agnostic with respect to whether AI adoption involves the development of tools by internal IT staff or procurement of AI-enabled vendor products, but in any case will address relevant considerations.

The session is expected to be structured as follows:

Session One:
Introduction to AI/Generative AI
Identifying appropriate use cases and models
Hypothetical use case walk through

Session Two:
Data governance and security issues
Legal, privacy and ethical considerations
Practical implications of adoption
