THIS SESSION HAS BEEN CANCELED.

AIG has become a mainstream approach that is used by many testing organizations. Varying the method to accommodate different content area types has now become one new area of focus positioning AIG as an approach for scaling item development for virtually any content area.

Ethics in educational leadership is understanding the rules, understanding how your actions affect other people and the system as a whole and also understanding the various ways in which we all make ethical mistakes. In the context of Competency-Based Education, it is especially important to define how we collect evidence of one’s ethical competency. Ethics is a very nuanced content area but just like the more scientific structured content areas, ethics in educational leadership is absolutely an AIGable content area. Subject matter experts create cognitive models and item models which are designed to elicit the defined ways in which we measure ethical competence, and those models are used as inputs for the AIG software. The key difference is the structure of the cognitive and item models is quite different from the cognitive and item model structures used for the more scientific and structured content areas.
